Situated on the second floor, Apartment Three offers views to the landmark Georgian St John’s Chapel from the lounge and enjoys afternoon and evening sunlight, with glimpses of Lancaster Castle, from the kitchen window.
Living space is open plan and integrates with the breakfast bar for informal dining and the fully fitted kitchen. The furniture is a tasteful blend of modern and retro, carefully selected by our interior designer. It includes an Italian full aniline leather sofa bed, which provides for extra sleeping space if needed. Feather and down cushions with hand sewn covers add an extra touch of style and comfort.
Television and radio, Internet access for BBC i-Player, ITV Player, 4OD and your own Youtube, Netflix or LoveFilm accounts and USB connections are all standard features of our Smart TVs. Both Wi-Fi and hard-wired access for the internet are included.
The fully fitted kitchen has plenty of cupboard space, fridge with freezer compartment, fan assisted oven, ceramic hob and an extractor fan. A microwave, kettle and toaster are provided, of course, together with a good assortment of crockery, cutlery, pans and utensils.
The double bedroom is furnished with the best Sealy Posturepedic bed and luxurious mattress, feather and down pillows and duvet (13.5 tog to keep you snug), built in ‘long and short’ hanging space and cupboard shelves. Fine white cotton sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers are provided and changed weekly.
Additional hollofibre pillows and 10.5 tog duvets are stored in the bed bases for the sofa bed or as an alternative to feather and down for anyone with a preference for synthetics.
In the bathroom you will find a generous shower, WC, designer hand basin and more storage space in the under-basin cabinets. Fluffy white bath and hand towels are provided, also changed weekly when the Housekeeper comes to clean.
We welcome our guests personally, a member of the team is available on site daily and an 'out of hours' number is provided to enable contact at other times.
We aim to be ‘green’ without compromising on comfort. Lighting is LED; heating is thermostatically and time controlled with temperatures set for each area individually. A high level of insulation, state of the art secondary glazing and first class acoustic reduction help to make sure your stay can be quiet and calm as well as comfortable and relaxing.
Although not designed to include full disabled facilities each apartment has lift access with only four steps at the main building entrance. Wheelchair access is available at the rear. All rooms within each apartment are on one level but doors are standard width.
